Consumer Protection on Main Street
According to the Chicago Sun Time's article "You can opt out of overdraft fees" customers will be able avoid overdraft fees even if they do not sign up for overdraft protection. Though this is a milestone for the consumer it begs the question how will banks make up for $38 billion in revenue from those fees?
What will be cut?
Or, what new "services" will be created?
